NYSLAA conference

Yesterday I presented the "All About Blogs" program at the New York State Library Assistants' Annual Conference held here in Liverpool, NY. Here's a picture of the group.



This session and the conference were well attended by staff from public and academic libraries statewide. The sessions dealt not only with library-related topics, but also investing, health maintenance and gardening. It was gratifying to see these front-line staffers committed to professional activities like this. I was happy to be invited and it was a pleasure to speak at this conference. I've attended the New York Library Assocation and Public Library Association conferences over the years and this was as well-run as any of those. Kudos to everyone involved!
