Mozilla has released a new version of its free Firefox web browser. You can download it from the Firefox site. If you're using Mac OSX, the site will point you to the correct download link. For other systems, click the link to "Other Systems and Languages". There isn't a version for Mac System 9.

Firefox is faster than Internet Explorer and doesn't have Explorer's security problems.
The Mac version of IE is more secure than the Windows version, so Firefox may be a good alternative for your home computer. I use it here at the library and at home. It also features tabbed browsing. Once you try it, you'll never go back.
