Private File Storage and Sharing is a free site where you can temporarily save many kinds of files, including Word docs, pictures, video and audio. This allows you to privately share them, transfer them to yourself or share them with co-workers.

It gets better! You don't need to sign up or create an account, either.

Follow these steps to save a file:

Click the Add Files button to attach the document(s).

In the "Name the Drop" box, add a name to the URL.

Choose a deletion date from the menu. Files can be saved up to a year.

Click the Drop It button.

Go to the URL you created to access the document.

We've been using this at the library for patrons who don't have a way to save the document they've created. We love it!
