Internet-connected coffee maker has security holes

This headline brought me up short. A coffee machine connected to the Internet? Through a wireless connection, the Jura F90 will let you select your coffee drink from your PC. But this convenience may come with a cost apart from the $1800 sale price. According to this article, the machine has a security vulnerability that could allow a remote attacker take over a Windows XP-based PC. (Insert Java joke here.) I think I'll stay with my Mr. Coffee auto drip.
