If you're going to be out of town, you can suspend your hold requests so the items don't come in while you're away. You won't lose your place on the waiting list, however. To do this from your home computer, follow this procedure:

Go to the library's web site and click on Catalog, Holds and Renewals. Click Connect to OCPL iPAC. After you connect to the catalog, click the My Account tab and login with your library bar code number and PIN. Click the Hold Requests link. Click in the check box next to each item you wish to suspend, then click the Change Status button. The status will change to suspended. To reactive your holds, click the check box again and then the Change Status button. The hold will return to Active status.
