The public PCs now have a basic word processor called WordPad. To start it, click on the icon in the upper left of the screen. This will allow patrons to copy and paste text from web pages. They can also type with it, although it only has basic word processing tools. Documents can be saved to the computer's Desktop only. Documents cannot be deleted manually. Documents will be deleted when the computer restarts. If the patron is still working on a document when the computer restarts, it will be gone.
