The Circus in America: 1793-1940

Today the Internet Scout Report included The Circus in America: 1793-1940. Published by the Institute for Advanced Technology in the Humanities, this site focuses on 6 major circuses with information about famous people, acts, music and more. There are historical photographs, a timeline and even a recording of a side show barker.
Why did I post this? During my college years, I spent my summers working for Circus Kirk, a small tented circus and have always been interested in them.
