Apple Security Update

Apple has released an important security and Java update. To get it, go to the Apple menu and select Software Update. It's big and may take a while to download and install. You'll have to restart afterward.

You can set Software Update to check for updates automatically. Go the Apple menu and select System Preferences. Open Software Update and click the Update Software tab. Check the box labeled Check for Updates, then use the menu to select Daily, Weekly or Monthly. (I set mine for weekly. It's a Mac, after all.)
